A Cookiebot alternative priced per domain, with the limits published
Scanner-led consent platforms get the important thing right: the cookie list should come from crawling your site, not from someone typing it in. Where they differ is how far a scan reaches, how often it runs, and what happens to the bill once the site grows.
One Privacy publishes every one of those numbers, charges per domain, and starts free without a card.
Scan depth is the number that matters
A scanner that reaches 50 pages on a 400 page site describes a fraction of it, and the pages it misses are usually the interesting ones. Old campaign landing pages, a microsite from a launch two years ago, the help centre nobody has opened since.
Check pages per scan and scans per month against your real page count before you compare monthly prices. Ours runs from 50 pages on the free tier to 1,000 on Business, and from four scans a month to thirty.
One install, different rules by region
In the EU, non-essential cookies wait for an opt-in. Several US state laws work the other way round, built on opt-out and on honouring a browser-level Global Privacy Control signal without being asked for it.
Region rules decide what each visitor sees, so you keep one install instead of maintaining a banner per market, and GPC is picked up and applied automatically.
Records that survive an audit
Storing a true or false against a visitor proves very little. A usable record ties the decision to the banner version and to the exact categories on offer when it was made.
Ours does, and the log exports. Ask the same question of anything else you evaluate, and ask to see one record end to end rather than a screenshot of a dashboard.
Where the price comes from
Two things cost money: serving the banner to your visitors, and crawling your site often enough that the list stays true. Pricing follows both, per domain, from $9 a month, with a free tier that is not a trial.
Three sites need three plans. That stops a small site subsidising a big one, and it means you read the number before you sign up rather than after a call.
How the two compare
| Scanner-led consent platforms | One Privacy | |
|---|---|---|
| Finding the price | Published, usually tiered by site size | Published, per domain from $9 a month |
| Scan limits | Often bundled into the size tier | 50 to 1,000 pages per scan, listed per plan |
| Free tier | Commonly a trial or a small-site cap | 15,000 page views, free for good, no card |
| Tag manager setup | Documentation and support | We wire it with you |
| Consent records | Stored and reportable | Exportable, with the banner version kept |
Frequently asked questions
How deep does the cookie scan go?
From 50 pages per scan on the free plan to 1,000 on Business, with four to thirty scans a month depending on the tier. Every limit is on the pricing page.
Can scans run on a schedule?
Monthly scheduled scans from the Starter plan up, weekly and monthly on Business. The free plan runs four manual scans a month.
Will switching break my Google Consent Mode setup?
It should not. Consent state is set before your tag manager loads and forwarded to Consent Mode v2 on every decision, and we check that with you during setup.
Can I remove your branding from the banner?
On the Business plan, yes. Every other plan keeps a small attribution on the banner.
